Electric Service & Supply Company was established in 1947 with strong commercial, industrial and institutional construction orientation. The company has maintained an enviable record of success throughout it’s history and has completed over 200 million dollars in electrical work on projects throughout Southern California.
A versatile and agile company, ESSCO has performed a wide range of electrical work. Current specialties include photovoltaic design and battery energy storage systems (design and installation), sports field and park lighting, as well as ground up electrical commercial and school projects.
ESSCO is proud to be signatory to the IBEW and is a NECA member. ESSCO remains a family business, owned by the Lazarian family, under the direction of third generation electrical contractor and CEO, Tyler Lazarian.

ESSCO is a full service energy efficiency contractor. Buildings are audited to assess inefficiencies, circuits are monitored to determine actual usage, upgrades specific to each customer are recommended, financing is offered (if needed), and installations are completed. Types of systems examined are lighting, lighting controls, HVAC, and building envelope.
ESSCO installed their first solar installation at the request of a customer over 25 years ago. As the industry has rapidly grown in the years since, ESSCO has continued to help design and install numerous photovoltaic systems.
Do you want to know how much energy an existing circuit is using? Stop guessing and know for sure! Utilizing submeters and gateways, we can accurately measure the energy usage of any load, be it 5 amps or 1,500 amps. Data can be stored in Excel format or graphed via the built in web server. By connecting a gateway to an internet connection on site, the energy meters can be accessed and read from any remote location.
Utilizing On Screen Takeoff and Electrical Bid Manager, estimates can be quickly created, updated, and priced without the need to print out any drawings. Digital files can be emailed or uploaded and physical drawings can be scanned in utilizing our full size plan scanner.
The industry is moving towards Building Information Modeling (BIM) and ESSCO is ready. Utilizing Revit and Navisworks, conduits, fixtures, ductbanks, and devices can be modeled and clash detected against other trades.
