Electric Service & Supply Company was established in 1947 with strong commercial, industrial and institutional construction orientation. The company has maintained an enviable record of success throughout it’s history and has completed over 180 million dollars in electrical work on projects throughout Southern California.
A versatile and agile company, ESSCO has performed a wide range of electrical work. Current specialties include photovoltaic design and installations, energy efficiency design and upgrades, submetering, underground conduit, and school buildings.
Staff and Facilities
Accounting, estimating, purchasing, engineering, shipping, fabrication and administrative functions are headquartered in facilities comprising 15,000 square feet of corporate offices, shop and warehouse located at 2668 E. Foothill Boulevard, Pasadena, CA 91007.
Management
ESSCO remains a family business, owned by the Lazarian family, under the direction of second generation electrical contractor and president, Stanley Lazarian.
ESSCO STAFF
Stan Lazarian, President
A well known industry figure, Stan has been recognized as a leader with integrity. He has served many positions in the industry, including VP and President of the Los Angeles Chapter of NECA and the VP of NECA national. He recently headed up a NECA national energy efficiency task force. Stan has been with the company since 1983.
Sue Lazarian, Vice President
The human resources of ESSCO, Sue processes payroll and labor compliance. She brings a passion and knowledge of personal relationships, aided by her BA in Psychology from Westmont College and MA in Marriage and Family therapy from Azusa Pacific University. Sue has been with ESSCO since 1993.
Tyler Lazarian, COO
As Chief Operating Officer, Ty’s main responsibility is to oversee all construction activity for ESSCO. His electrical knowledge allows him to engineer his way through problems and his creativity has led to innovations in prefab and underground installations. Ty has been with ESSCO since 2003.
Sean Lazarian, CFO
While Sean fulfills the role of Chief Financial Officer, it is his computer skills that have proved to be the most valuable to ESSCO. From estimating using On Screen Takeoff, to managing GL accounts, to BIM modeling complex electrical jobs, to changing network settings on submeters, there are few parts of ESSCO that are not improved by Sean’s computer abilities. Sean has been with ESSCO since 2004.
Matt Larrick, Project Manager
The main project manager for ESSCO, Matt’s ability to keep calm and find solutions to the challenges of construction have proved a valuable asset to not only ESSCO, but to the owners, construction managers, and general contracting companies that he works with. A graduate of North Carolina State with a degree in civil engineering, Matt also brings a breadth of general construction knowledge. Matt has been with ESSCO since 1998.
Tim Shultz, Purchasing Director
As purchasing and warehouse manager, it is Tim’s responsibility to acquire and coordinate delivery of all jobsite materials. His ability to be both friendly and forceful aid him in acquiring the best prices on orders. Tim has been with ESSCO since 1994.
Kathy Garcia, Accounting
As bookkeeper for ESSCO, Kathy’s primary responsibility is accounts payable. Her pleasant nature and willingness to take on any new task has led to numerous small roles at ESSCO as well, such as phone receptionist and mail handler. Kathy has been with the company since 2007.
